Lady Trojan Athletic Code

Students selected to Newman Smith High School Lady Trojan athletic teams must recognize this distinction as an honor and privilege and must be held accountable to a greater standard than that of the general school population.  The student-athlete is  a recognized representative of our school as well as the district and as such must demonstrate the highest levels of character and behavior.

It is the responsibility of each coach to ensure this high level of expectation .  Coaches must monitor the character and behavior of team members in and out of season, in and out of uniform, and on and off the campus.  In an effort to build a strong and complete girls program at Newman Smith, a code of conduct has been established as a guideline for all athletes to follow.  It is the desire of our coaching staff to provide each athlete with an opportunity to have the best experience possible in each sport.  The following violations and expectations comprise the code of conduct for all our athletes.
